Upcoming Golf Tournaments Hosted at Glens Golf Group

Spring Myrtle Beach Golf Packages

The Glens Golf Groups’ golf courses are co-hosting a few upcoming golf tournaments this year, including the Myrtle Beach March Championship, the Veterans Golf Classic and the Myrtle Beach World Amateur golf tournament all sponsored by Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday. For more information on these tournaments, see below.

1. Myrtle Beach March Championship, March 8-10 co-hosted at Shaftesbury Glen. The Myrtle Beach March Championship is a new tournament created by Myrtle Beach Golf Holiday to lure more golfers to Myrtle Beach in the early spring. The tournament is played over three days at six Myrtle Beach courses, including: Shaftesbury Glen, Arrowhead, Meadowlands, Sandpiper Bay, Thistle and Tiger’s Eye. With more than $10,000 in prizes up for grab, no wonder this tournament is already sold out. For more information on the Myrtle Beach March Championship, click here.

2. Veterans Golf Classic, May 17-20 co-hosted at Shaftesbury Glen. This year will mark the 16th anniversary for the Veterans Golf Classic being held in Myrtle Beach. Al least one team member in the tournament must be active or a veteran military service member. Eight Myrtle Beach golf courses are co-hosting the players, including: Shaftesbury Glen, International Club, Man O War, Meadowlands Golf Club, Panther’s Run, The Pearl, River Oaks and Wizard. Registration is now open – entry deadline is May 2. Click here for more information on the Veterans Golf Classic.

3. World Amateur Tournament, August 31 – September 4 co-hosted at Heather Glen, Glen Dornoch, Shaftesbury Glen and Possum Trot. The Myrtle Beach World Amateur golf tournament is the largest amateur golf tournament in the world! More than 3,500 participants registered for last year’s tournament and this year it’s expected to be even larger. Each night after playing golf, golfers head to the 19th Hole for some fun, including live music, food, drinks, vendors and contests. Forty-five Myrtle Beach golf courses are co-hosting the tournament this year and players are all eligible to win more than $25,000 in prizes. Registration opens March 24.
